Practice makes all the difference in learning to crochet.

Homeschooling

Math -For maniplative help for beginning addition and subtraction facts, I use two different colors of lego blocks (the medium size blocks).  I build two sets of ten blocks, alternating colors so the odd numbers are one color and the even numbers and the other color.  Teach them to count even and odd by two's while helping them them learn their facts.  Be sure when making a number like 14, create ones' and tens' places with one stack of 10 and the 4 ones.  It cuts down on cost of counters and other expensive counting supplies and results are the same.

Dealing with Difficult People

Everyone has come in contact with people who are difficult and not reasonable (will not reason).  Some of these people will at least listen to other people's opinion, most will not.  To the person who is trying to be reasonable, don't let the one who is unreasonable take advantage of you.  Stand your ground on what you believe is fair on both sides, but do it in a gracious way.  Maybe the other person will learn from your good example of kindness and fairness.  Whether they do or not, you will know you dealt with them in the right way.  If you have any suggestions or stories about dealing with difficult people
email me.
